MEET PAMELA
LMHC
My love for therapy began long before I became a therapist. Fascinated by psychology and human behavior, I first explored this work in my own healing journey. As a trauma survivor, I deeply understand both the pain and the longing for wholeness. The deeper I connect with myself—body and mind—the deeper I can go with my clients. I’ve been where you are, and I know there’s a way forward.
I’m passionate about EMDR & ART. It reaches the roots of trauma, reshaping core beliefs and integrating healing into the body. Even if you don’t have PTSD, EMDR-informed therapy can help. We all carry layers of trauma, whether from life’s big events or unmet needs. It’s not only about what happened to you, but what didn’t happen to you.
I don’t follow a rigid therapy model. Healing is more than weekly sessions—it’s an experience of reconnecting with yourself. That’s why I offer intensives, breaking free from the traditional mold.
Therapy with me isn’t just about trauma; it’s also humor, education, and hope. My clients leave their first session with a sense of direction—and that means possibility.
I work with all kinds of people, but I especially connect with those who’ve done therapy before and want to go deeper. Maybe you understand the work ahead but need a guide. Maybe you appear put-together but feel like a mess inside (boy mom here—think broken Lego sets). Maybe you need a therapist who truly gets it. Wherever you are, I’d love to take the next step with you.

I am a master’s level licensed mental health counselor passionate about providing deep care to others through a holistic & trauma-informed lens (meaning I consider all aspects of the person including environment and biology. I always consider what happened to you, and how that lead to suffering). I have worked in the field of psychology since 2008. My professional experience includes working with neurodivergent and chronically ill people, incarcerated population, those with personality disorders, dual diagnosis and substance abuse, people suffering from severe and persistent mental health, traumas, and relational issues.
My specialized trainings include EMDRIA standards-approved EMDR, flash technique, accelerated resolution therapy (ART), crisis intervention, treatment of personality disorders, object relations, and I am a complex trauma trained professional level II (CCTP/CCTP-II) and a certified grief informed professional (CGP). I use various trauma-informed therapy modalities and techniques, mindfulness-based therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and schema therapy.
MEET COURTNEY
MHC-LP
My first experience with therapy was in my 20s—as a client. I know how awkward and scary it can feel to open up to a stranger, but those early sessions changed my life. They led me to leave outdoor recreation, bringing my love for people’s stories into my new path as a therapist.
I started grad school in 2020, learning the art of holding space and guiding change while the world faced a crisis. My early clients were navigating loss, anxiety, and isolation, and as I helped them, I also learned to offer myself more kindness.
This work inspires and fulfills me. I love what I do. If you're motivated and ready to explore deep questions, sit with discomfort, and grow, we might be the perfect fit. Therapy with me feels like a warm chat over coffee, with all the hope of a fresh journal waiting to be filled. We’ll set goals, uncover your strengths, and wrestle with the beliefs that shape your life. You’re the expert on your experience—I’m here to offer tools and shine a light on your resilience.
I often work with clients in transition—a big move, a breakup, a career shift. Change can be overwhelming, but it also holds potential for growth. My role is to help you navigate it with clarity and strength.
I have a deep commitment to LGBTQIA+ clients. As a former crisis counselor with The Trevor Project, I’ve seen firsthand the power of resilience and vulnerability. That work shaped me as a therapist and fuels my commitment to providing a safe, affirming space for all queer identities.

INSURANCE
Intentionally, we are out of network (OON) providers. We believe in prioritizing meaningful and lasting relationships with our clients, and not being limited by the restraints and restrictions of the insurance companies.
Most specialty providers do not work for insurance companies.
If you have out of network benefits and would like to submit receipts (superbills) to your insurance company, you can click here to determine insurance benefits using this calculator.
We have partnered with Mentaya to help clients use their out-of-network benefits to save money on therapy. Use this tool below to see if you qualify for reimbursement for our services. ->

Intentionally, we are an out of network (OON) group practice, which is beneficial to you in many ways.
When paying for services out of pocket you will pay at the time of your appointment, no information is passed on to insurance companies and they have no access to your clinical record.
There are many benefits to paying this way:
- You have complete choice in which therapist you work with. We know how important the therapeutic relationship is and we want you to be able to choose the person you resonate the most with.
- Complete confidentiality of your services. When we bill through insurance there is a certain amount of information they require in order to pay for services.
- You have complete control over time in therapy, session length, as well as what type of therapy you receive.
- Avoiding stigma around diagnoses.
- Insurance premiums and life insurance policies won’t change based on a mental health diagnosis.
- No matter what insurance you have you can stay with your preferred therapist.Overall, we want you to have complete say in who you see, how long you see them, for what you are seeing them, and what kind of treatment you receive.
When we bill through insurance we must prove that treatment is medically necessary which requires sharing quite a bit of information about you and your treatment. Even then, insurance companies will limit access to care that you truly need. -
We are considered an out-of-network (OON) provider by your insurance company and can provide an invoice for third party reimbursement (also known as a “superbill”) at your request. Many insurance companies reimburse for out-of-network providers.
Please know that when utilizing your benefits to be reimbursed through a superbill, insurance companies can gain access to review your clinical records to determine if services are medically necessary. In these circumstances we will need to provide a diagnosis.
We recommend reaching out directly to your insurance provider to learn about your out-of-network benefits. -
We have a 24-hour cancellation policy in place in which you can cancel the session yourself using the online portal or send us a message saying you cannot attend. If you do not cancel within 24 hours, you will be responsible/charged for a full session fee. However, we understand that life happens, which is why we provide all clients with a one time exception. Additionally, if you reschedule within the same week and make that appointment, the cancellation fee is waived.

First and foremost, we work to establish a safe and trusting environment. Additionally, we believe in a highly personalized and tailored approach to treatment which is based on your personal needs, wants and goals.
During our initial session, we work to get to know each other more and discuss treatment options. The following sessions are focused around deepening the understand that we both have around your issues and concerns as we being a focused treatment plan. You are your own best judge of your life and we are here to help guide the process–however–we may provide additional insights and treatment suggestions based on our professional judgement and expertise. The rest of the sessions are based on your needs and goals that are established in the early phases of therapy. Whether you choose to take the traditional talk therapy route or whether you choose to do more intensive/accelerated work will determine how sessions are conducted.

We use various modalities based on your situation and needs. Most individuals require more than one modality. Here is a list of our most frequently used modalities:
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)
Person Centered Therapy
Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT)
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR)
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Positive Psychology.
We also incorporate the following when applicable: Culturally responsive therapy, Trauma-focused, LGBTQ+ sensitive therapy, parts work (IFS), DBT, and life coaching. These lists are not exhaustive. Please reach out to schedule a free consult to see if we can meet your needs!

The number of sessions varies from person to person, but most clients start once a week for the first several months. Typically, clients will taper down to 2-3 monthly sessions for maintenance. In some cases (not rare), we may start at two sessions a week if we both agree that clinically it is in your best interest to do so until you feel more stable.
Intensives are different than traditional weekly therapy and are a modern approach to therapy. Reach out for a consult to see if intensives are right for you.
